GetSolar.com - 966% traffic increase
Get Solar specializes in connecting solar installers with residential and commercial properties looking for PV systems. The goal was to capitalize on this market within every US state. To achieve this goal we built 50 state landing pages, each with unique content pertaining to the state as it relates to solar energy. We then set up a blog which Get Solar became incredibly proactive with. Interlinking the landing pages from the blog posts and publishing solar related content consistently over time helped Get Solar to rank for terms and phrases pertaining to their niche.
CDIABU.com - 47% traffic increase
CDIABU is the Center for Digital Imaging Arts at Boston University. We noticed that their existing site had many student portfolio images and videos that we could use to promote the school. With the student's consent, we published their photograpy work over several social photo sharing sites such as Flickr and Picassa, adding titles, descriptions, and links back to CDIABU.com. We then created a YouTube account for them and uploaded each video, adding information similar to that of the photos.
EnerNOC.com - 100% traffic increase or infinite
EnerNOC was having a new website built and they needed it to be entirely SEO'ed from an on-page perspective before going live. Squareoak worked in tandem with the web designers to make sure everything from the title tags to the link structure was buttoned-up. Once the site was live we initiated link building and content generation campaigns to help them rank for their targeted keyword phrases.
Sevenfund.org - 3,604% traffic increase
SEVEN Fund wanted to run and promote a competition accepting video submissions detailing social enterprising initiatives. Through tireless social media promotion the VINE Competition successfully pulled in more than 300 video applicants all while significantly increasing backlinks and brand awareness.

Wedding Paper Divas - Geeky Weddings
Wedding Paper Divas (a custom wedding invitation vendor) was trying to think of ways to reach an audience outside of their current demographic of 23 - 28 year old females. They really wanted to reach a male demograpic but wasn't sure how. After a bit of brainstorming Squareoak decided to conduct some research on themed weddings. Particularly weddings involving popular, geeky, male-based interests such as Star Wars, Star Trek, robots, pirates, etc. We knew if we could find topics that appealed to geeky internet influencers then this could have viral potential. After about 10 hours of searching we created a photomontage of unusal weddings which ended up yielding 2,306 Diggs, at the time over 873 backlinks according to Yahoo Site Explorer, and over 80,000 pageviews on the Wedding Paper Divas site in less than 24 hours. This viral content was also mentioned on Revision3 hosted by Kevin Rose (founder of Digg) and Alex Albrecht.
Beau Coup - NES Influenced Weddings
Due to the success of the Geeky Weddings viral content, Wedding Paper Divas wanted us to have another go but on a different domain with similar demographic challenges. Again, Squareoak created a photomontage but this time involving Nintendo Themed weddings of themed cake decorations, outfits, ice scupltures, etc. We spread this content over several social news and bookmarking sites which at the time yielded over 890 backlinks according to Yahoo Site Explorer.
Bobby's Best - Bluetooth - 10 New Badass Devices
Review site Bobby's Best had heard about the success with Wedding Paper Divas and also wanted to leverage the power of viral content on their domain. Bobby's Best wanted to capitalize on Bluetooth devices so Squareoak looked far and wide, finding images of the latest and greatest Bluetooth gadgetry. At the time this content yeilded around 100 backlinks and over 1,500 pageviews in 24 hours.
